Dear Colleagues, We are pleased to announce the II International Symposium on Soil and Soilless Cultivation that will be held in the beautiful city of Puebla, Mexico from 15 to 19 May 2011.

This event is being organized by the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS), the Commission Plant Substrates and Soilless Culture ( CMPS) and the Colegio de Postgraduados (CP).

With the participation of the Universidad Autónoma Agraria Antonio Narro, Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos, Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, Universidad Autónoma Chapingo, Instituto Tecnológico de Roque and Instituto Tecnológico del Valle de Oaxaca.

The aim of this event is to provide and exchange information about hydroponic systems, substrates, nutrient solutions, plant nutrition and control of pathogens, organic hydroponics, physiology and plant nutrition of hydroponics and nursery production as well as to foster collaboration amongst the participants. This is a Bilingual symposium, Spanish and English (simultaneous translation). The event will give us the opportunity to learn about cutting-edge and technological applications in production without soil and hydroponics
